Man I'd love to see him, I think he already came here though. And by the way, I'm A Man could possibly be the Steve Winwood song that was covered by Chicago and The Who. Although I'm not sure.

My mistake, it seems the song was actually written by Spencer Davis, if it's the same one.

Thanks BigFatPhony. I wasn't sure about that one. I fixed it. That song has obviously been covered multiple times.

rochester92, I wish I had been there, but I'm just an over enthusiastic fan who wanted to know what to expect when he finally gets to Pittsburgh in August. I do know that Stevie Nicks sang with Petty for about 4-5 of these songs and might have done one by herself. I won't get to see her in Pittsburgh, but we get The Allman Brothers; a fair trade in my opinion. I did see them last summer and this setlist shares about 10 songs. If you've been to Tom Petty concerts before you know that you'll always get to hear great versions of the hits 'You Don't Know How It Feels', 'Free Fallin', 'Learning to Fly', etc. At the concerts I've been to, the whole crowd sings the words to just about every song they play. So bone up on the lyrics to these songs if you're going.

Just stumbled upon this post regarding Charlotte and I wanted to say... This show was truly awesome. I've been told for years that I've gotta see Tom Petty, and that's quite an understatement. I didn't think Stevie was all that great, and her presence didn't feel all that necessary to me. Tom's new song (Saving Grace) was surprisingly good. The energy from the crowd was great, and definitely helped make the show as fun as it was. Great show, easily a 10/10. Subterfuge is right about the lyrics...I felt like the only person who couldn't sing along to everything.
