"Our tastes are converging, old friend. Last time I was here our compatibility was only high! Did you get around to listening to "Laughing Stock"?" I still haven't worked my way through Spirit of Eden, actually! It's a tough album for me to listen to, it really does require patience. I love "I Believe In You", but on the whole the album is quite sparse for my tastes. It also sounds like nothing else from that era, much like how the Pixies practically created alternative rock around the same time. Sorry for the slow response, I'm terrible with last.fm comments!

I think the next direction would be to check out their next two official releases after WMD and American Beauty. Their self titled album "Grateful Dead (Skull & Roses) came a year after American Beauty and it's a fantastic live double album. Highlights for me are Me & My Uncle and Bertha. Another year after that they released Europe '72 which is a live triple album and probably my favourite Grateful Dead official release, personal favourites again are Brown-Eyed Woman and Morning Dew. As you can see here I'm pretty fanatical about Morning Dew Europe '72 - http://www.last.fm/music/Grateful+Dead/_/Morning+Dew+(Remastered+Live+In+London+1972+Version)

Well it's good to diversify...we don't have to be exact in our tastes :-) I've been listening to a lot of electronica, especially with funk/soul/r&b/hip-hop elements (usually just elements though...I'm not a big fan of rap overall).

Det hade jag nästan glömt. :) Jag är uppväxt med dansband och får infall ibland när jag lyssnar på det. Taggen om Beatles tror och hoppas jag är skriven halvt på skämt.

I comment quite often, usually on music I feel pretty strongly about (either dislike strongly or like strongly). It's likely we have similar tastes :-D

all-right, after talking to a few friends, it's actually a song about bigamy, not sodomy. maybe not funny; i haven't heard it in years. however, i have the hook up, and my friend is going to send it to me. if it's any good at all, i'll let you have a listen.

do you want to listen to only the rock bands or the other genres as well, because there's lot's of good work going on in the non-rock scene in india. Among the rock bands, there was Indus Creed. you should also listen to Thermal & a Quarter. Pentagram has a few good songs too. If you are looking for some good bands that don't really play rock music i can send you the links to their myspace pages.

Most of the bands originating from India are either wannabe death metal or just shamelessly metalcore, so I don’t blame myself. For you wanting them sinigng in hindi, get Euphoria.best one...period. and there are not many bands singing in hindi...dont reemeber any now... but get THE CALL and EP both are awesome...

Hello ! I see you're a Portishead fan... :) Radiohead launched a remix contest of their latest single "Nude". I've made a "Bristol" remix of it (home town of Portishead, Massive Attack, Tricky, etc... well you probably know that) You can listen to it here : www.radioheadremix.com/remix/?id=1307 Hope you like it, and don't forget to vote.. support the Bristol sound ! :) Thanks !
