Bringing forth from the very depths of the devils fiery hellish cave (ok, from a dimly lit room with a half assed computer in the corner of the room in the midst of rats), some death metal stuff you should really really check out.
* Abhoth - Dormant Reality

Their final demo and their most riff centric. The title track on this demo release by these Swedish metalheads is in my opinion their best creation.
* Hetsheads - Remonstrating The Preserver

This Swedish death metal bands' bands first demo.
Hetsheads bash out high speed simple tunes with catchy choruses and medieval interludes between blast beats…might not be for those who value complexity, harmony, melody or tastefulness"
If you value the Unabashed raw style of the early 90s….Its a must!
Recorded May 1991 at Studio Dalen, Stockholm ,Sweden.
* Chronic Decay - Ecstasy In Pain

Holy shit this is some unrelenting furious death metal. It's a death metal album built like a light speed thrash album, and I love it. The fact that this band has a lack of material is greatly upsetting to me. I would have liked to at least seen one full-length album. Despite their lack of material, I have become a fan.
The songs are fairly straight forward and simple. The band relies on speed, ferocity, pure aggression and being quite catchy. The riffs are thrashy and and absolutely delicious. I said this album is built more like a light speed thrash album and the riffs resemble that statement. No tech/prog riffs to be found here, just hellish death/thrash of the highest order. Well performed vocals that are chalk full of aggression and hate really add to the album. The drumming mostly consist of blasting, catchy thrash beats and rumbling fast double bass work. It works very nice in the overall mix of things.
Everything on this album works towards one single goal, to melt your fucking face off. I believe this album achieves that goal, my face is proof of that. Seriously, listen to this fucking album, you will not regret it.
* Mastication - Mastication

This self-titled demo from 1991 features three songs along with an intro and outro. Lars Levin's vocals are extremely throaty and dark beyond belief. The music itself is very dynamic, ranging from mid-paced thrash attacks to dissonant blasting sections and everything in between.
So what else is left to say? This is heaviness. This is brutality. This is death metal.
* Agonized - Gods

Swedish brilliance of the highest degree. Leans slightly towards the thrashier side of things with a million riffs per track. I swear some of the track reminds me of Morbid Angel's Damnation!
