Cool - happy to hear that you're still keeping your hand in broadcasting in some way, shape or form. Oh, and never did the thought of vanity enter my mind because: a) Vanity is certainly not a word I'd ever associate with you and b) because it just makes sense to me that a chef should sample his cooking, if you'll forgive the analogy :o) If you can point me in the direction of your podcast feed I'd like to give it a listen sometime.

Hi! You have an awesome taste in music! Is there anyone you can recommend me to listen to? I've been listening to a lot of This Is Seb Clarke, do you know them? xx

Hey Ian. Yes - long time indeed! Things are going reasonably okay. I'm currently doing a temp job for a translation company back in my home town after finally coming to the conclusion Uni wasn't for me back in Feb. Just need to figure out what I'm going to do long term by the turn of November - scary stuff! How about yourself? Anyway, appreciate the endorsement of my musical tastes. Also glad to see "The Chain" in your recently played list - I've been playing almost daily on my mp3 player (a Zune, so I can't scrobble it :o( ) since downloading Fleetwood Mac's Best Of while out in Spain. Will look for some Talking Heads soonish, while I really do recommend giving Porcupine Tree (Prog Rock) and God is an Astronaut (Instrumental Post-Rock) a look if you are unfamiliar with either. Anyway I'll quit rambling at that :o)

I didn't realise that I had kept my music tastes so hidden! Your tracklisting is a bit of a surprise to me to be honesy, more old stuff than I thought, you used to be on the bleeding edge of Indie! Incidently I just discovered I really like the track 1979 by the Smashing Pumpkins through watching Peter play too much GTA4 - Its on Liberty Rock Radio. :)

À propos de moi

I'm a former Head of Music at a student radio station (Bailrigg FM to give it props - google it) and as such, I only like music that was released between 2004 & 2007! I'm a diehard fan of The Coral and my nemesis in life is Alex Turner, as he took the piss out of my hair whilst I was watching them support the aforementioned band.

When not actively pursuing a career in museums, I can often be found kicking back to The Coral, QOTSA, Talking Heads, the Pixies and pretty much anyone else listed on this website, as I believe that's the idea. I should also big up Chuck Rose, my pub singer duet partner from my 6 months living in Canada, and the Buck Brothers, my showbiz pals!

Many thanks for checking out my profile - I'm truly humbled! :)
