Nachdem Akela bereits im August die digitale EP "Uncharted Territories" veröffentlicht haben, freuen wir uns sehr, dass das Debütalbum nun das Licht der Welt erblicken wird! "Orientation" erscheint am 14. Januar 2011, und zwar sowohl auf CD (im schicken, handgemachten Digipak) bei Midsummer Records und in Kooperation von Midsummer Records und Shark Men Records auf limitiertem, farbigem Vinyl (inkl. Downloadcode)!



Die Band AKELA existiert seit Dezember 2009 und besteht unter anderem aus (Ex-)Mitgliedern von Dead Flesh Fashion, having trouble breathing und Identify The Stereotypes. Im September entstand im Oldenburger Studio Die Tonmeisterei unter den erfahrenen Augen und Ohren von Roland Wiegner und Henner Henzler dann das 12 Songs starke Full Length-Debüt "ORIENTATION". Für Artwork und Layout zeichnet sich übrigens der bandeigene Gitarrist Flo Gering verantwortlich (www.daysofbeingwild.com). Alle Drucksachen werden aufwendig von der Band selbst im Siebdruckverfahren erstellt und handnummeriert, so dass jedes Exemplar ein absolutes Einzelstück darstellt. Darüberhinaus wird das Vinyl in zwei Farbvarianten erhältlich sein - genauere Informationen dazu gibts dann ab dem offiziellen Preorder-Start am 03.12.!
