    I wish I could have seen that. The 2nd is always great in concert. I saw MTT do the Mahler 6 a couple years ago and I have most of his Mahler cycle with the SFSO. Which is your favorite Mahler symphony?

    Any thing he has done outside of the categories of "scores" or "solo piano compositions" does tend to be unbearable. In said categories, however, a fair amount of virtue is found.
