If I bled musical notes, my existence would be closer to the truth.
I live for music. I love for the happiness it has brought me throughout the years.
Nothing else makes me quite as content with the world around me.

Vinyl is my format of choice.
I have well over 100 LP's and at least a couple hundred 7" singles.
I especially love coloured vinyl and 12" singles.
I've got three phonographs to play them on.
But I want a few more, just for good measure.

I'm completely and hopelessly in love with Russell Mael.
However, I share my birthday (August 12) with the very lovely Ron Mael.
I love Sparks. I've spent hundreds of dollars on their music (vinyl and mp3s).
And hundreds more on things like pinback promo buttons and keyrings.
Most people I know think I'm strange.
I'm just lucky my boyfriend tolerates Sparks in the car.

I love animals, so much.
I love playing with the kitties at the shelter until my asthma kills me.
(And then some.)
I don't eat animals. I don't approve of people who harm animals.
They're so much a part of my life. I never go a day without blabbing to random strangers about animals.
Especially my kitty.
You know how old people carry around pictures of their grandchildren?
My phone is packed with pictures of Simon. That cat is basically a child to me.

A few more things that steal my heart:
Classic cars (my favourite is the 1957 Chevy Bel Air)
Victorian houses (the architecture is intricate and breathtaking)
Antique shops (especially furniture and dishes)
Cheesy 80s films (my stack of needless DVDs is getting worse by the year)
I'm really a simple kind of girl.
I just happened to be born in the wrong generation.

I love being barefoot.
I love taking naps in the sun with my sweetheart.
I don't trust the government and I'm critical of typical Americans.
I assert my existence as a woman that has better things to live for than marriage and children.
I choose not to objectify myself.
I love going for long drives. I live for the summertime.
I take great pleasure in drooling over the men on the backs of my record sleeves.

My hair is very nearly arse length.
I have a 60s-esque eyeliner fetish.
I'd give any sole desire to whomever could build me a time machine.

Take me home to the summer of love.
