Here are ratings (out of 10) of the albums I've heard so far from this year:

Disfear - Live the Storm - 8.5
Cursed - III - 8.5
Genghis Tron - Board Up the House - 8 (and I have a feeling this will grown on me)
Trash Talk - Plagues - 8.5
Paint It Black - New Lexicon - 8 (would be higher if it weren't for those electronic interludes in between tracks, they tend to kill the momentum of the album)
Black Mountain - In the Future - 6.5
The Loved Ones - Build & Burn - 7
Reign Supreme - American Violence - 5

And these will be in the next part since I have them downloaded, but have yet to listen to them in full or at all:

This Is Hell - Misfortunes
