Decent band. Metalcore with sludge/post-rock elements and free jazz.

Genghis Tron

Pretty much these guys looked EXACTLY like what I expected: the nerdiest-looking hipsters ever.

Their set was cut a bit short because the guitarist had a lot of technical difficulties during the set. Apparently water was spilled all over his effect board the day prior. Regardless, they were fucking amazing.

Took this one of them setting up their equipment. I always like checking out people electronics set ups:

They pretty much stole the show and were my main reason for going to this show. Good stage presence and full of energy. Their two drummers worked their fucking asses off.

Getting a clear shot of the two drummers going at it was a bitch where I was. I was literally two and a half feet right in front of the chick guitarist and the fucking bassist was right in front of the two drummers.
