heh, distinctly unsunny here in SA for the last week or 2 - autumn is most definitely here! i'm a bit biased when it comes to Sigur Ros (as a quick glance at my charts might indicate!), but i reckon that their last proper album Takk would be the best place to start. individual songs? Glósóli, Hoppípolla, Sæglópur, Untitled #8, Svefn-g-Englar, Untitled #3, Staralfur... :)

Your german is good! I really love The Weakerthans, saw them live last year in Berlin. You might check out the video of the gig: http://www.boerdebehoerde.de/2008/04/14/video-the-weakerthans-live-in-berlin-07/. I like all of their albums, in that order: Reconstruction Site, Night Windows, Left and leaving, Fallow. No special song, they are nearly great at all.

heh, my french is non existant, so i've had to rely on babelfish to translate that for me! :) yeah, i like some french music - mostly punk/hardcore/metal stuff and then Serge and some ye-ye stuff. and yes, Joy Division and The Cure. you've lost with the owl reference though... is the problem with your french? or altavista's?!? :)
