If you really want to get a more accurate one, check out the book Please Understand Me II by David Keirsey. That book can open your eyes, and hopefully won't confuse you more. I really do think people should not be limited by the personality type thing. Just because you are an introvert people think that you don't talk to people or like people. The reason why I recommend the book to you is because it explains in depth the benefits of knowing your personality type and cognitive functions. This awareness can actually help you to understand why you behave the way you do at times and think the way you think. And if you talk to people that's find, but don't force yourself to act extraverted. It can slow down the development of an introvert's cognitive functions. Yes, introverts can be talkative, I can be very talkative, but that is because my auxiliary function is extraverted feeling.

Yeah, that happens. People fuck you up sometimes, but you should still be able to keep a core personality. I see what you are saying though, the environment does affect the molding of one's personality especially if traumatic events happen. I hope that your faith in humanity can restored someday.
