À propos de moi

I'm a serious music lover who has tuned out radio and music television. It seems the artists with the least airplay are the most talented. I rebelled some years ago by creating a website/database ArtHausNYC.com (now on hiatus). But the Mission of ArtHaus NYC lives on via Facebook & myspace. I love melodically soulful and jazzy instrumentation lead by subtle, soulful vocals. I actually listen to lyrics so I am very selective about what I listen to. My musical taste ranges from most forms of Jazz, Acid Jazz, Disco House, Deep House, Nu soul, lounge, Chillout, & Electronica. My favorite bands are: Incognito, Earth, Wind & Fire, Brand New Heavies, Jamiroquai,The Sunburst band, Reel People, The Ananda Project, Rasmus Faber, RH Factor, Tortured Soul, The ReBirth and Afro Elements. My favorite singers are Anita Baker, Maysa Leak, Taka Boom, N'Dea Davenport, Marvin Gaye, N'dambi and Rahsaan Patterson. My favorite Jazz legends are John Coltrane & Nina Simone.
