MOTHER FESTIVAL / NEXT EPISODE 22.23 SEPTEMBER BERLIN / BRING YOUR NOSE !

"MOTHER is a drawing across time and terrain in the form of a DIY festival dedicated to women’s contemporary music and art. It has neither a residence nor an institutional form. It started in 2009 as a three year peripatetic adventure across three different countries, where we involved musicians and artists from all over the world who blur the line between various disciplines. Along the way we marked the dots of an ephemeral triangle, as represented in the festival's logo. The first MOTHER edition, co-curated with Daniel Sarid, took place in Tel Aviv in 2009. The second edition was in London in 2010, together with Nicole Emmenegger (aka DJ Jenny Woolworth - www.jennywoolworth.ch), who is also supporting our project at the 2011 Venice Biennale. The last dot of the imaginary triangle will be drawn in September 2011 in Berlin in collaboration with the artist and musician Snjezana-Sonja Cvitkovic." www.motherfestival.com
