Ditto... and I was just reading your "about me" on your LMZ blog and saw the words "I worship at the House of Westerberg." Too weird, for years I've been telling people that I worship at the "pillars of Paul" aka Westerberg and Weller

Sweet deal! Sounds like you got a great computer. Mine's got a really nice sound card, too, but I lack the really nice speakers it needs. Maybe after the holidays I'll find a nice sale! And if you come up to Louisville with the band, my dancing shoes will be out AND polished. :-D

Yeah, I know. That's when I changed computers. I never bothered to add last.fm and winamp onto the new machine.

Still trying to figure out this application by being nosy on your page. I don't understand what the Neighbours are yet, but I'm learning...

Yes you are right. It seems like the people I have the most common interests with the Taste-o-meter will say Low, and my cat's name is Milo. All the best, Dan.

À propos de moi

NOTE: My Last.fm listening history is strictly only what I can listen to on the computer, unfortunately my MP3 player wasn't supported for the longest time & I've had no luck getting the new third-party plugin for it to work...

So, well, if you take a peek at my blog or MySpace or Facebook profile, you probably get a pretty good idea of where I'm at musically... which is all over the place. <g> Top three are The Replacements, Hoodoo Gurus, and dig - many thousands more of all kinds of crazy behind those three. Music junkie indeed...

I'm pretty psychotic when it comes to spinning tunes... I might be listening to the 'Mats or the Gurus or Husker Du one day, Puddle of Mudd or Seether or Motley Crue the next, The Kinks or The Yardbirds or The Animals the next, Black Flag or Babes in Toyland or Iggy Pop the next, and, oh, The Monkees or the Bay City Rollers or Duran Duran the day after that. Yeah, I have musical multiple personality disorder... <g>

I ran the American sister website for Hoodoo Gurus guitarist Brad Shepherd's later band, The Monarchs, until they called it quits. I now manage the official MySpace profiles for The Monarchs, Fun Things, and Super K, and am working on putting new standalone websites up for The Monarchs and Fun Things.

Also been working with Scarce's Joyce Raskin trying to help get their 1995 album "Deadsexy" released from the clutches of their old record company (UPDATE: We did it!!), as well as some publicity for the band (which has recently re-formed) around the globe today. Check 'em out, you won't be sorry!

Another pet project of late has been pushing The Ride Ons from Australia, a fab band which features my buddy the legendary Muzz Shepherd the Human Drummer (Monarchs, The Hitmen, Screaming Tribesmen, Fun Things) on the skins. Check 'em out too!

My two seconds of fame was being listed in the acknowledgements in Michael Azerrad's book, "This Band Could Be Your Life" (I contributed some very minor Replacements swag) - so there's my indie cred, and that and 50 cents might buy me a cup of coffee (or four bucks at Starbucks)... hehe.

Cannot even BELIEVE it took me so long to find this place as it did and thank goodness for Alice Bag's blog or I might not have - Last.fm is a total kick and I've loved hanging out here the last several years. Woohoo.
