Hey Brian, What's up? I believe we met in the early 90's at Johnny Campbells place (he's doing good..saw him last night). Talked about the Gun Club, as I recall..It's my first day on this thing and in checking out the Nils came across your journal. Nice read! Thanks for that. I got to know Alex pretty well when we started Chino with him and did the record and a bunch of shows. That material was great and so much fun to play. Looks like a fun thing this does..I'll keep your 'list close by. All the best, Mike Willis

Ahh yes, thought maybe you up and R-U-N-N-O-F-T (gotta love quoting O Brother, Where Art Thou). Thanks for the compliments on the pics I have on my page. The 2 you mentioned are probably my faves too, and the Johnny and June one is another fave.

OOOOOOooooooooh! I'm reliving the 90's. Who would have thunk!! Blues Traveler, Soul Asylum, and Weezer. All good in my opinion. By the way, if I ever get my way to that part of Canada, I will definitely have to visit that place. I"m drinking some red zin right now to undo the cheese harm right now, so forgive me :)Thank you for accepting my friend request, you seem really cool, with great taste in music! Love the stuff you listen too :)

Wow! Well, shoooo! You said "And So it Goes", it reminded me of a great song by "The Piano Man"! I like your style! I was just sitting here listening to the soundtrack to "Wonder Boys". Have you seen that movie? Hahaha, one of my favorite movies with a fabulous soundtrack. It doesn't get much better than that! Take care!

Well thanks for stoppin' by yourself! I think I checked out your profile when I saw you as a top listener of "Hot Tuna". They play some good blues music, hey. I recently rediscovered them myself and have been listening to them quite a bit. So I would say that you have great taste in music as well, and I would have thought our compatibility would at least be "medium" (What do computers know?). Well you take care, have a nice week. Peace!

Someday these guys will bring Your Neighbours back to the front page, where they belong. And so there's no mistake, I do not endorse Apple, especially iTunes, which is, by far, the worst example of file management and a simple database that has ever appeared on any platform, ever. When Cupertino fucks up, They really do it right!

À propos de moi

"Guitar groups are on the way out, Mr. Epstein." – Decca Records, 1962

I am at home in Berkeley, California

I bought my first record, a 7" EP (Elvis) in 1956, at the age of 4. I played clarinet at age of five until 11, then switched to the electric guitar. I made a flaky living as an electric guitarist, occasional producer, and bar band guy, in San Diego, Los Angeles, Vancouver and Montreal. I had a lot of fun and met some awesome people along the way, both regular unknown folks, and the not so unknown.
