I see you played the "newish" Besatt album, what do you think of it? How does it compare to their older material?

Awww Jimmy it was bloody filthy disgustingly awesome. I had a blast and that was my third time seeing them. I also saw Vital Remains and got to hang out with them after the show. Amazing show and the crowd went nuts when they covered a Slayer song. Unfortunately my friend was drunk at this point so I was tending to him outside when this occurred but what can I say that you don't already know? They were awesome! How are you doing these days?

Awesome Jimmy we are at the point in our lives that we appreciate all the friends we can get. So happy to hear that you had someone looking out for you and trust me when I say I was always supportive of you recovery. I wish that I had done more for you friend. I am always positive and having positive thoughts when I am able. Okay... I am not a Finnish boy but an American female that still has you in her thoughts. I just need fake people like him to go away. *hugs* and *kisses* Your "online" friend DEZ! <3

Hahaha!! Yeah the old "my friend put me up to it trick" Huh? Lol, I'm just messing with you. As for me I am still up to the usual supporting metal however I can. Have a show in a week with Vader and Vital Remains which I'm excited about. Life and work are good...

Pan.Thy,Monium aren't well known, crazy death doom band https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QT6cbwgIsO8

Try Pan.Thy.Monium, Argentum - Ad Interitum Funebrarum, Runemagick (first 3 albums are death metal, the rest are death doom), Visceral Evisceration, Indesinence, Dusk, Avernus, Aphotic, and of course Morgion https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=prlN4H7QgG0 Pantheist are good too but slow like funeral and then they usually up the tempo mid-song

yeah depends what sort of death doom you like, it's actually a pretty broad genre. i'll throw some recommendations your way

For some good newer thrashmetal I recommend [artist]Vektor[/artist] and [artist]Havok[/artist], maybe you have heard of them already?

I have been liking this year a lot, I think in last year I got a bit tired of music overall so I almost took a break from it completely, atleast from checking out new music. Now I'm back, listening to new bands everyday. :)

This is where I will be this weekend: http://www.last.fm/festival/3534781+Rockstar+Energy+Drink+Mayhem+Festival+2013 Unfortunately Behemoth dropped off of the tour and Amon Amarth only have a 35 minute set. Talk about adding insult to injury. *sighs* What are you going to see?

Jimmy!!! I'm so happy to hear you are doing well and recovering nicely. Just be sure to take it easy at that event. I know it is exciting and all that jazz especially after being out of commission for so long but take it easy. Don't know why I thought "Lyrica" was a sleeping aid. Hehehe... I had to google "The Cricket" as I am not familiar with your event stadiums there in Australia. I'm heading to an event this weekend out in the desert this weekend myself. I'm a little worried though because there is a freakish heat wave and the temperature is expected to reach a high of 109° fahrenheit.

Thanks. That Ouroboros was cool. Nice Nile wibes. I'd recommend Sons of Aeon and Bloodred Hourglass. Both just released their debut albums which can be found @ Spotify. Sons of Aeon incl. guys from Ghost Brigade etc. Bloodred are little bit younger guys but they play some nice fast stuff. They were cool live also. Waiting to see Sons of Aeon and Omnium Gatherum live later this year. Omnium is also releasing a new album soon. Their latest New World Shadows is amazing.

My company just took over more properties and we have been working on the merger and it has meant long hours and tons more work. It is going relatively smoothly considering but it doesn't mean its been an easy transition either. As for my personal life, I haven't been able to go to any shows in like a month and had to cancel a few of them last minute. I am happy to report that I do have a few to look forward to here real soon. I see Nile again in March and will more than likely see Enslaved in a week. I can't wait. how about yourself? Any shows or other plans to do anything?

Hi Jimmy. HUGS!! So sorry I'm not around like I was before but I'm so happy to hear about your recovery. It sounds like you are well on your way and here is to hoping you keep getting better. I miss talking to everyone and I apologize for getting back to you so late. I am able to read my messages at work but my schedule has been so hectic that it is difficult to reply until I am at home.

In the pit ov corpse @ the Summer Slaughter show with Cannibal Corpse. It isn't so bad because I am able to move it but it still looks real gnarly and refuses to heal. I shall wear this badge proudly. <3 I am going to a show tomorrow but I have just learned that my friends band had to pull out at the last minute so that is a bummer but it should still be fun.

Jimmy, you never told me the story behind you injury. I am beyond curious at this point and I must know since you have told me it happened at a show. Not that it matters but my finger is not healing and I think I may have to see the doctor soon myself so they can reset it. I realize that this must pale in comparison but the fact that I make my living with these hands of mine is not lost on me. You need to take better care of yourself honey bunny!

Hey Jimmy. I'm sorry I missed your previous message but I had an awesome time. I have a broken finger and bruises all over my body as proof of what an amazing time I had. *giggles* I had so many friends there to share the experience most of which I didn't even expect to be there. It was a pleasant surprise indeed. I also met some dude that said he "knew" me from online and we hung out the rest of the evening. I must say he is a friendly guy and I'm happy I got the chance to know him. The show was brutal as fuck and as I said before the finger is proof. All the sights, and sounds that equate to awesomeness. I'm really tired and drunk so I need to head to bed I will ttyl. Glad to hear you are doing well in your recovery. *hugs*

That is great news Jimmy so glad to hear it. Just don't overdo it but don't baby it either. That is what i was told during my recovery. I might not go to Summer Slaughter this weekend because I heard they sold out and I waited until the last minute but I'm waiting to hear back. =\
