No, I haven't! I always thought it looked fun but nobody I knew ever formed one, so I've just stuck to playing in an orchestra. I'd consider a band though if a couple of my friends got together to make one.

Well that's cool! I'm glad you enjoy it. I enjoy a lot of engineering related things but I enjoy a lot of other types of things too so I'm not sure what would be best for me. Adventure is always a good thing though! You should definitely try out some type of music. Joining a band would be so awesome! I have seriously considered doing so myself in the past.

Oh that's funny! How do you like engineering? And what kind of music would you try?

Haha right, being successful is too mainstream! I have absolutely no idea what type of engineering. There are so many different options and I haven't done enough research in each to decide which is most like me! I'm still at the point in my life where I'm just figuring things out because I don't even have any idea what I would actually enjoy!

Violin is badass! I am not taking music for school though, I enjoy music and all but I wouldn't want to do it for a living. I'm not exactly sure what I want to do with my life, but I'm considering maybe engineering or epidemiology. But who knows.

Will do! I play the violin, piano, guitar, and cello, but I mainly focus on violin and piano since I actually own each of those (my dad has a guitar that I sometimes use but not much). The guitar and cello are more like things I do in free time, but I'm decent at them, so I figured I'd include those since four sounds even cooler than two!

The main song I know by them is from there! It's the "It's Nice to Know You Work Alone" one. But I'll check out the rest of it!

Oh that's alright! I sometimes take forever to reply when I'm really busy (thank god I haven't been lately!). I've listened to some of their stuff but only a couple of songs. What do you recommend?

Is that a gun in your han...oh, wait...that's probably already done. What's happening sir? Anything exciting? Been mad busy myself but that is almost done with. And thank fuck for that. Yes, LSD and teh Search for God are good, shame there just isn't more stuff of theirs around.

Oh trust me I don't think about sharks at all! I go to the ocean pretty often and I go waaay out, and just ignore the fact that there could be sharks nearby. I mean if you live in fear like that you won't have any fun, and the ocean can be soooo fun with all of those huge waves! I'm not really what I'd call combat proficient though. Well I don't know much about noise rock or shoegaze, so not really, but I know some people who are really into it.

Ohh this is someone who has been doing swimteam for 12 years! So yeah, swimming really is where it at. I think if I can handle swimming around 400 laps a day 6 days a week, I can handle swimming to Iceland! If I don't freeze or drown or get eaten by a shark of course.

Riiight, I mean sanity is just so mainstream and no fun at all! It's for losers. Insane people are the hip ones :) Hahaha well that is a little excessive, I mean I don't have anything against Islam buuuuut it's not really for me... let's just leave it there. I don't want to offend anyone. But yeah, I probably should have just sucked it up and went to the show anyways. Problem was it was at this Bonnaroo festival which is about a 6 hour drive and the place is soooooo crowded, which would not be the best environment if you're feeling shitty. So next chance I get I'm seeing them! Fosho! Ooooh I would loooooooooove to go to Iceland but it's not exactly convenient for me.. plus that's my dad's birthday and he won't be wanting to be buying a plane ticket for me to be gone then. And I'll check those albums out!

Dude I think you're right! *super high fives* I've always been pretty insane but then I hide it around most people, since a great majority of the people I spend my time with just can't handle it. Their loss! I love Sigur Ros! I almost got to see them live a few years ago with a couple of my cousins at this music festival but then I ended up being sick that day and instead just got to hear them ramble to me about how amazing they were :'( But I don't know all of their stuff, so which two albums are you talking about?

Haha right, school is overrated! I'll just drop out and scrobble all day erryday and travel the world! That sounds like it would be a great life. Hmmm... well I mean it depends on the person. Like me, I'm pretty insane even without Sufjan, and so it just increases a bit each time I listen to him. But some people need a little push to get there, and then once they hit a certain point, boom, they're there! But on average, I'd say a couple hundred, or however many plays it takes for you have an epiphany and realize that his music is all you've ever wanted in life.

Okay first off, sorry for the lateness! I've been obnoxiously busy with school and everything. Anyways, yes it is very unhealthy to have less than 200 plays by him, you're life isn't complete until you have more than that! Do you feel like there is a big gap in your life, something you're missing? It's Sufjan! :)

Hmm.. well I of course like all of his albums, but I would have to say either Illinois or Michigan, depending on my mood. But if I had to pick my ultimate favorite I would go with Illinois, because it's pretty much a perfect album! What's your favorite album by him?

lololaurens
Oh well thank you! And okay, well, I have listened to it a few times on the CD, but I never actually imported the whole album onto my iTunes because I'm lazy.. so I mean I have listened to it a number of times but I'm more into Sufjan's acoustic stuff, Age of Adz is not my favorite album by him, that's for sure.

One of the other LFM folks recommended [artist]Errors[/artist]. The handful of tracks I listened to were too shabby.

Yeah. I don't mind her but I'm not crazy about her. They're bonus tracks. They're actually two of my favourite ones lol.
