actually, i do think arguing over genres is pretty much a waste of time and not all that important. but the perception people have of the word "emocore" is just so wrong that it sometimes starts to bother me. xD and since you are so correct about tags and everyhting i thought you should no the truth. http://www.youdontknowemo.tk/ <-- this site has a really good list of real emocore bands, so if you care give any of them a listen and you will see what emocore is and that the bands you have given that label pretty much don't have anything to do with it. much greetings. :]

Note: I have an extremely large music collection spanning most all forms of music. Im a musician and i try to appreciate all forms of music, from small bands to major ones. As such, ill often just put ''everything'' on random and hit go, and listen to whatever plays. Variance is good. Try something new today =)
Second Note: Im currently part of a group of users aiming to fix the tags put on artists and songs due to misuse or misinformation, causing problems in both the radio service and recommendation service for both listeners and artists.
