Would you say that 1 John 5:7 tells us the Father, Son and Holy Ghost are the Godhead? And if they are the Godhead, does this mean they are all equal to one another? Yeshua did say the Father is greater than Him (John 14:28), and we can agree that the Holy Spirit is not equal to the Father or the Son, since the Holy Spirit cannot be prayed to or worshiped. So is it safe to say the equilateral Trinity structure taught by the Catholic Church is not correct? (By an equilateral Trinity, I mean a trinity of the equilateral triangle, where all members are equal in power and authority.)

Does the Bible really say that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are 3 persons in one?

I saw you've played an Integrity song before? This is surprising, considering they ain't very holy. But at any rate, that's cool. It's great to see someone that is so candid about their faith! :)

Yes, it is. And the sad thing about it all is , that you, as other christians, assume that your fairy tale is more truthful than stories of other religions. I'm proud to be an atheist.

It is such a fairy tale. For example, why does your church hate pastafarians?

Hi Lewis- awesome words, powerful testimony, (Holy)Spirit-filled mission ! I would like to add you as a friend- i'm building our church's internet presence to "go into all the world", declare the Gospel, to inspire and encourage.... Through prayer, The Lord spoke to put together online 'praise and worship' sites for the fellowship. Completely new to Last.FM etc- would appreciate any music recommendations you may have, and any pointers for online music ministry. God Bless you, and he DOES bless - as the Worship and Praise for His Glory, His Truth, uplifts and the work you have already done is great blessing to many- praise His holy name. ... Seeing the sites you are to do with, and what you have placed online, it is the answer to a vision, the confirmation of a direction.I believe that we shall see a movement of Praise and Worship, new songs and old, across the face of the earth & also through the internet, with Revival coming soon after, more Praise offered online. Thank you brother

Impressive, strong belief you have, most 'christians' I know don't even read the Bible. And it's great we have classical music in common :)

Small thought: God has never been disproven by science, so atheists can have their blind faithful in unproven theories and I will maintain my faith in the living hope of Christ.

Thank you for your recommendations. I found some Christian rock groups such as Red ('Breathe Into Me' is my favourite so far), Skillet and Firelight, however some songs are too heavy for me. Christian music is amazing, magical. I am proud and happy I have God to rely on, because nowadays when people live without great ideas, without honor and with wrong morality it is easy to lose life's sense. I am afraid of the future. It will be a terrible world for our children and grandchildren. God bless you, too! :-)

Hello Lewis! I am also conservative and Christian (Catholic) and I have to say that you have pretty awesome music library here. I am starting my adventure with Christian music and your profile is helpful. Lee Robbins sounds good, because I like the oldies. By the way, it's amazing you are only 21 any your faith is so mature.

Listener of full-time

Broadcasting Christ-centered programs to the United States & around the world for 55 years!

I am a conservative, evangelical, fundamentalist, Reformed Christian. I enjoy the kind of music that expresses my Christian belief, based on the truths set forth in the Holy Bible and that exalts the Person and salvation work of the Lord Yeshua Messiah. I seek only to give Jesus Christ the Redeemer of His chosen few all the glory and honour and magnify His Holy Name among the nations. For a better idea of what I believe Gospel/Christian music ought to be I refer you to

Redeemer Broadcasting's Music Policy

Redeemer provides a music mix that is Traditional, or as a friend of ours suggested, Classic Christian. This means that our music style is uplifting and within certain stylistic bounds. Our mix includes old hymns, new hymns, some praise choruses, classical music, instrumentals, a cappella works, some anthems, and some psalms. We believe that God alone is Lord of the conscience, and that individual tastes may include music not chosen by Redeemer. Therefore, we do not judge those whose tastes vary from ours, yet we have decided not to play music which has a hard-driving, heavily-syncopated beat. The majority of Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) is not played by Redeemer, while some softer CCM pieces are.

We believe that our music inspires, and has a reverent appeal that helps the listener worship God in spirit and truth. Besides the music style, we also pay close attention to the lyrical content. We try and select songs that exalt the Person and salvation work of our Lord Jesus Christ. The content of the songs must glorify the Triune God of the Scriptures, and not give glory to man. To this end we select songs that are consistent with the message of God's sovereign grace, the sufficiency of the Scriptures, man's depravity and need for salvation, the perseverance of the saints, etc.

I do affirm and declare my belief in the Christian faith and do set forth the following:

  • The Bible, as the divinely inspired and authoritative Word of God.

  • The triune Godhead, in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit as sovereign Creator and Ruler of the universe.

  • The personality of Satan, and his present control over unregenerate man.

  • The fall and lost estate of man, whose total depravity makes necessary his new birth.

  • The deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, death, bodily resurrection, present exaltation at God's right hand, and His coming again.

  • The reconciliation of man to God by the substitutionary death and shed blood of Jesus Christ, our Savior.

  • The resurrection of the saved unto everlasting life and blessedness in Heaven, and the resurrection of the unsaved unto everlasting punishment in Hell.

  • The invisible, external Church, the indivisible Body of Christ, bound together by the Holy Spirit, consisting only of those who are born again, for whom He now makes intercession in Heaven, and for whom He shall come again.

  • Christ's great commission to go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature.

Give me conservatism or give me death!

The late Dr. Duane Edward Spencer was the pastor of the Grace Orthodox Presbyterian Church in San Antonio, Texas and the teacher of Word of Grace Ministries.

The late Dr. Duane Edward Spencer's expositions of the key words of the Scriptures are intense, rich and exciting sermons that speak to the heart of the listener with a freshness and immediacy as he brings to light "hidden gems" in the Scriptures that normally are overlooked.

If you are already familiar with Dr. Spencer's work, you have no need for us to tell you what a tremendous blessing these studies are for the seeking heart. If you have never heard these "Word Key" studies before, you are in for a wonderful experience.

Other music policies

The music used on the Family Radio Network should be worshipful and reverent: in spirit, in form and content. It should reflect a Biblical balance of Psalm, Hymn & Spiritual Song. It must be a positive expression of Biblical and Christian reverence for God. It should serve to minister to those who listen, as would the ministry of music and the preaching of the Word in a worship service.

The music used on the Family Radio Network should be beautiful in it's religious thought or spirit, and should be embodied appropriately in the lyrics, in the music, and in the blending of these in song. It should satisfy the aesthetic guidelines of balance, unity, variety, harmony, design, rhythm, restraint, and fitness which are the conditions of all art.

The music used on the Family Radio Network should represent the full range of the revelation of God as found in God's Word, the Bible.

The lyrics of the songs must be good lyrics; they cannot rely upon the music to carry them.

The music of the songs should be artistically defensible as good music; it should not have to rely on the words to carry it.

Whenever Psalms or other portions of Scripture are involved, the lyrics of the songs should be true to the inspired Word or God. Such lyrics should at the same time not be overly generic, and should be free from excessive emotionalism and/or sentimentality, showing reverence for God.

Songs which contain lyrics other than that which is drawn directly from Scripture should contain lyrics which reflect Truth, a genuine love of God, but should always be in harmony with the whole counsel of God, and again, should not be overly generic, and should be free from excessive emotionalism and/or sentimentality, showing reverence for God.

The music of a particular song should be suitable to the text to which it has been adapted and should be as free as possible from association with secular music. The purpose of the music on the Family Radio Network is intended to be used for edification and worship, not entertainment.

Such styles of music which contain excessive percussion, syncopation and/or extreme chromatics should generally be avoided.(although these may be of value for special settings such as Christmas or Easter, etc.)

(Taken from the updated Family Radio Music Policy Guidelines, May 2001)

Family Radio does not announce the song titles or artist's name over the air. The music is there to draw attention to God, not the performer.

Family Radio does not accept cassettes for airplay. The cassette tape hiss makes them unusable in a broadcast environment.

If you still think your CD will fit these guidelines, you can send a copy to:
