the song is perfect. But we Russians are bigger in this respect, too. Haha

I somehow managed to use all three authentic Danish letters in the shout below without even intending to do that. :D

Haha, that's alright, imagine how I felt, I'm not very eloquent in Danish, and I wasn't completely sure that was you. But it was surprising. Wow. Can you even imagine that.

You know, I'm no big fan of Russian metal, though I like some songs by Ария though they are really a bit cheesy and resemble Iron Maiden and Judas Priest too much. The common problem of Russian rock music is that lyrics are considered more important than the music itself. Though sometimes both are great. Чёрный Кофе is along with Ария the band of my childhood. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xWeIaYbGMbA amazing song with good lyrics, kinda philosophic. Oh, I forgot Gorky Park. Initially a Soviet hard rock band, they sang in English and collaborated with Frank Zappa. Mindblowing music, similar to Slade probably. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0fmVkWdiVfM As for electronic music, if you enjoy Театр Яда, you probably need to check out Dvar - some spooky mushroom/weed-influenced ambient and Theodor Bastard beautiful and mystic trip-hop, they apparently collaborated with Театр Яда. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EjBelUh3bVM

Wow, hej, привет! Tak for anbefalingerne :D Jeg studirer dansk også på universitetet. Haha it's my first year of studying Danish as well :) By the way, we say "в университете", though in every other way your sentence is perfectly correct. As for artists with Russian lyrics, I'd recommend you Театр Яда (very dark, surrealistic and sometimes frightening ambient with really interesting schizophrenic lyrics), Сплин (probably Russia's best modern rock band, their music is really diverse and the lyrics are great as well), Пикник (old Soviet/Russian mystic/art rock band from Saint-Petersburg with a strong Pink Floyd influence) and Prāta Vētra/Brainstorm (these are two names of the Latvian band, really uplifting and easy-listening pop rock, they have songs in English, Russian and Latvian).

I'm not much of a CD buyer (mostly for monetary reasons), but I like to collect the vinyls of the albums I enjoy the most. Farflung sounds really nice so far, especially the second half of the album. it's nothing like I've heard before.

heh, I have the same problem here. I currently have 124 new albums on queue... that's what happens when you get music much more rapidly than you can process it.
