Yeah I have experience on both sides there. Stuck doing something you hate and then finding something else and focusing on what you like in it. So best of luck finding your niche. Well I like my privacy too, that's what the room is for so you can enjoy that no matter where you live, you just have to share kitchen and living room, stuff like that. A small price to pay to afford to live somewhere, I think. ;) I think your plan (I like this, see where it goes) is a good one, I did the same thing. I started very generally, then found what I liked and focused myself more and more as the years went by.

Yeah, really. I'm actually doing work right now, at midnight. Living on your own is ... actually I've never done that. I've house and flat-shared, which is IMO worse, because you can't just rely on yourself but have to deal with other people and they can be mighty incompetent. Especially if you're in uni accom. like me and thus didn't choose who to live with. What're you off to study?

Once I move out you mean? No I'm "stuck" in Belfast for at least three years. So sayeth my contract/stipend. Tis a decent city, it's just my accommodation/internets that are balls. Oh and it's as expensive for a lot of things as friggin London.

It's accommodation provided by the university, and as such they probably have some ports blocked and Steam must be one of them. I'm assuming torrent ones and such will also be blocked ... haven't tried it yet but if I can't even access my legal stuff... So far I've been busy enough not to bother trying to get them to let me on (even just evenings ffs) but it is a pain to be limited this way. I'm moving out in half a year but I'm craving some of my old faves already.

That's what I thought (or hoped), so I was waiting to purchase it even though box edition was going down in price. I'm still not sold on the new Riddick when I likeed the graphics enough first time around.

Not sure when I'll be able to play it... but I'd been waiting for it to go down just because of all the buzz I heard again about activations. I liked the first Riddick too (have it somewhere still) but am not really willing to pay for just a graphical update when most reviews seemed to think that the best part about it was the original campaign, not the new one.
