I would recommend Ys, but with a few caveats. If you don't know, her voice is kinda childish, but it adds to her charm. And in Ys, the shortest song is 8 minutes, the average being about 13 min. And they are dense and requires a lot of attention. But oh boy, does that pay off. Every time I listen to that album, I hear something new that I missed last time that makes me love it all the more. Her other main album, The Milk Eyed Mender, is also good, and are mostly 3-4 minutes in length. Totally, and yeah maybe it doesn't sound like the 'Bad Religion' sound that so many have come to know and love. But, if it sounds good, why not like it? I mean if Bad Religion would have ventured out more and become built around that album, than people would've been criticizing "How Can Hell Be Any Worse." Oh well, in a sense it's kind of better that not as many people like this album. It almost seems more personal and like a treasure to those that appreciate it. Ya know?
