    Hi there, well to start things off, I don`t really know the bands youmention. I only know their names because they´re often reccommended when it comes down to the MELVINS. Go for them, try their song "Boris". That´s propably the heaviest crunchiest song ever ;)

    I know and enjoy both Big Black and Rapeman. Personally I consider them somewhat noise rock :). Thanks for Embrace and Fugazi, though.

    i didn't see so much of wellington, but i absolutely loved the city. we did a lotr-tour and saw the te papa museum. also, we did a lot of partying =) now i'm in takaka, golden bay.
