Wow - that was an amazing performance! He should have done that song on the Grammys. The Black Keys are a blues/rock band. Their most popular song recently has been Lonely Boy off of El Camino, but I actually prefer their older album Brothers to the new album. They're great, though. Really, you can't go wrong with anything of theirs!

He does one on the mixtape called "Nature Feels" that that has the backing music from MGMT's "Electric Feels." With some interesting lyrics :) I love it! My favorite is probably either Lost, Bad Religion, or Pyramids. They lyrics in Bad Religion get me every time. Did you like his Grammy performance? I wish he would have done a different song, but it wasn't too bad. I was kind of disappointed that Mumford & Sons won album of the year. I like them, but I didn't think Babel stood out enough for the award. My pick would have probably been the Black Keys.

I LOVE Frank Ocean! I picked up his album and mixtape a few days ago after reading about the Grammy hype for him and I can't stop listening to it. It's not what I would normally listen to either, but it's so good. If you like Channel Orange, you should check out his mixtape - Nostalgia, Ultra. I will be listening to both albums a lot more! How do you like No Church in the Wild? Have you heard any others from the album? I haven't yet, but I've been thinking about checking it out. I first heard Bloc Party when I was a freshman in college a few years ago. The first song I heard was Hunting for Witches. I listened to it over and over again and then bought Another Weekend in the City. Have a great night!

I didn't like The 2nd Law at first, but the more I listen to it the more I like it. The first singles were kind of weird, but I think the album works really well as a whole. It definitely is somewhat of a different style - there were some dubstep influences on a few tracks. I like it a lot more now that I've listened to the whole thing through a few times. How did you first get into Bloc Party?

I think my favorite album is A Weekend in the City, but I've had that album for a lot longer so I've listened to it more. I picked up the other albums in the last year so I haven't had a chance to listen to them as much. Silent Alarm is probably my 2nd favorite album of theirs. I really need to listen to Four more... I've only listened to the whole album once or twice. I just downloaded Another Weekend in the City the other day, along with some of their remixes, so I've been having fun listening to those! I see you like Muse as well. Have you had a chance to listen to their newest album, The 2nd Law?

I think that line is my favorite part of the Star Trek trailer :) Yeah I did know that Benedict Cumberbatch is the voice of Smaug. I love it! I thought that part one of The Hobbit was really well done. I re-read the book before I went to see it and now I think I might re-read Lord of the Rings. I do love Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman getting more exposure, but I wish that the 3rd season of Sherlock would air sooner rather than later!

Yeah the new Star Trek movie looks amazing! I liked the new promo for it that was on during the Superbowl. I'm excited for Benedict Cumberbatch to be in it. He's fantastic on Sherlock and I think he'll be great in Star Trek as well.

I'm a huge sci fi nerd too so I can relate :) I'm working my way through all of the episodes of Star Trek that I haven't seen yet on Netflix right now. Always happy to meet another sci fi nerd... especially one with awesome taste in music!

I'm listening to Mystery Jets on Youtube right now - thanks for the recommendation. I like it! Yes, that Nathan Fillion song was from Dr. Horrible. After I watched that I had to buy the soundtrack... it's so funny! Have you watched Firefly? If you've seen Dr. Horrible, I figure you probably have.

Hey! Have you ever heard of Monarchy or The Last Shadow Puppets? They're two British bands that I really like. Monarchy is a synth pop duo with an interesting sound... not sure if you're into that kind of thing or not. The Last Shadow Puppets is an indie rock band that has Alec Turner from the Arctic Monekys in it. They have some really good tracks!

I knew you were going to say Blink as soon as you said the doctor wasn't really in it. That's such a great episode! I can't start naming favorites because there are so many. I recently re-watched Partners in Crime where the doctor met up with Donna... that's a good one. I don't think I can quite call myself a hipster yet, but I'm definitely headed in that direction. I've been getting into a lot of UK bands recently. I need to check out Two Door Cinema Club... they've been at the top of my recommendation list on here for awhile but I haven't had the chance to listen to them much yet.

I started watching with Eccleston. I don't think I realized how awesome the show is until I got to The Empty Child... that's kind of when it hit me. Tennant was great... I may or may not have cried when he left. But Matt Smith has really grown on me. The new Christmas special was fantastic! I bought the new season on iTunes just so I could watch it right away. I'm always happy to meet another Whovian... and one who has great taste in music is even better!

Nice I'm jealous! I would love to see Bloc Party live someday. I haven't watched Classic Who yet so I can't comment on any before 9. I'm a big fan of 11, but really, I like them all. What about you?

Ah, I do have Costume Party, it was one of the first TDCC-songs I heard back in November, it was a b-side for I Can Talk or something. I guess they just re-released it as a new song then. But anyway, it is an excellent song :) Working in the library sounds cool, it's actually one of those things I've always wished I could do (I love books). But yeah, finding a new job is never fun. I've been really lucky with never having to actually find a job. The first one and the one where I'm right now were both offered to me and all I had to do was say yes :D

I have the album by Hockey in my itunes, but right now I don't remember what they were like, I should probably listen to them again :) I have a ton of music in my itunes that I have never listened to, 'cause whenever I hear about a new band that I might like I just download their whole discography so that I can listen to it later, but somehow I always forget :D I should probably just sort out my whole music library someday. But yeah, I still do wanna go to University or something, but right now I'm enjoying my job so much that I can't even think of quitting. And even the thought of going to school sounds so depressing :D I am doing a little studying, though. My work is arranging this thing to get a business degree, but it's pretty much nothing 'cause I only have to show up at the courses once a month.

Yeah, only about a month until The Boxer! If it's gonna be a dance album, well that sounds good to me, I think it will go perfectly with this summer :) Anyway, I can imagine it to be a relief to have finished all that stuff :) I don't have to suffer any of that craziness, though, since I haven't been in school for the past 3 years :P When I graduated from high school I had no idea what I wanted to study next, and then someone offered me a job, so I've been working ever since.

Glad to hear you liked them =) I think the Brightboy-song you mean is Kyllikki. It's not actually their own song but it's a cover (the original is by a band called Leevi & The Leavings, they were famous for their, well, weird and sometimes even dirty lyrics). The song is about a girl (Kyllikki is a girl's name), and this singer used to love her until she left him, and now he's seeing her pictures in magazines, and the song is just basically him singing how he misses her :) But yeah, the more I listen to Tenderoni, the more I'm liking it! I kind of hope too that it would be a mix of styles, but it will also work if it's gonna be electronic/dance for the whole album. Like you said, I'll be happy with whatever too!
