No, I haven't played piano in months, unfortunately. I've been in beauty school full-time since April and still have a bit to go. That's been taking up a good chunk of my time and energy. I have been listening to a lot of music, but haven't felt like making any. Best of luck if you do decide to pursue the violin. It's a gorgeous, timeless instrument.

I completely agree with everything you said about her. I don't know if I told you this, but Halestorm began as a local band in my area. I've known the Hales for many, many years. They're sweet people, Lzzy especially. It's wonderful to see more and more appreciation for her on a mainstream level. She's always been a powerhouse vocalist. That collab with Lindsey Stirling was great too. Thanks for sharing!

Hey! Here's the version I was telling you about. Lzzy does a fantastic job supporting Myles here, and their harmonies are killer! You may have seen this before. I hope you like it as much as I do! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Szn82Uthd3o

Hey J, sorry for my late response here. I was supposed to attend the IE show but the end of Jan month was pretty messy (I was moving) so I couldn't attend the show as planned. I still didn't manage to hear the new album yet. Everybody is saying it's great. I'll wait a bit and listen to it when these fans stop talking about it ;-)

Happy New Year to you as well! I just listened to the duet with Cristina Scabbia. Oh my gosh. It's gorgeous! The band + Lzzy Hale on Watch Over You was the first I had ever heard of them, and I liked it enough to investigate them further. But I must say, Cristina's duet is much better. I haven't had the opportunity to check out The Letter Black, but I will soon. And unfortunately, I still suck at piano! LOL To Be honest, I rarely play any more. I felt like I wasn't progressing enough on my own and couldn't afford lessons so my motivation tanked. It's unfortunate. I do hope to pick it up again in the future.

hey thanks Jay! not sure if we'll be doing any tours or shows much - probably just recording, but you never know - if the album is well received & calls for it then we'll see what happens... yep Silt is still going ahead - we're just lazy! you can check out some demos @ soundcloud.com/siltsound if you haven't already. We'll be recording about 7 tracks this year. It's Marc here by the way - just using Cam's big ugly head profie pic haha take care.

Hey, J! Sorry about that. I must have been in a hurry when I initially read it, causing me to miss the question you asked. To finally answer it... lol.... I've been playing since the beginning of 2010. So how are things? Did you get to see Kittie in February? Thanks for the insight into AB. I have Fortress and Blackbird. AB III is next. I'm really liking what I'm hearing so far.

What do you think of the new Alter Bridge? I unfairly wrote them off as Creed 2.0 but they're actually an interesting band.

Yeah, I didn't see it coming either. Not that I'm complaining, MMLP was a solid album. I've always liked Blood but when I listened to it last year, I was also listening to dozens of other new albums so I just never got back around to it until recently and I'm loving it.

Oi! So surfing season is still opened you didn't have time to check in here? ;-) Well shark, you're right. I was new to Northlane in March but PWD I discovered only a month or two, earlier. Insanely great band. I wonder how I didn't come across them earlier o.O Probably because I'm very picky with bands and genres so it took me long time to dig something different.... Let's see, I'll put 12FN and new Karnivool on my playlist these days and will let you know my impressions. Oh 'Lodestar' by DLC is already out?? Bwoaaaah, I can't fuckin' wait to hear the whole album! o.O I actually just heard the teaser and stayed like "PAF!" after :D

Oh French... Such a sexy language to listen, probably also to speak but I'm not that lucky to know it :-b Uh, I didn't check BoT 3 years I think. The same case with DLC and TFN but it's time to refresh my memory, I guess :-) These days I checked some new releases so that's why you can see Northlane in my library but to be honest with you, this is the first time I've ever heard of this band and it's not bad. Well, as you said, we must stay open-minded, primarily to enjoy the music on the right way. Ha, told ya! New Soilwork kicks ass! :D

And a correction for the missing verb down there on BoT and DLC: I think I still *have* their digital albums in my folders somewhere. :)

BTW, you should check Finnish occult, prog-rock band Jess and The Ancient Ones. They're really good! :-)

Hey :) Yes. Bosnia is a neighboring country to Serbia. I'm pleasantly surprised about your geographical knowledge, I must admit as many people outside Europe don't know much about our continent when it comes to Geography. Probably because your education system doesn't mark Europe as a high priority :) Oh I know Birds of Tokyo and Dead Letter Circus also haha. I think I still their digital albums in my folders somewhere. I heard about Zwelve GFoot Ninja but I didn't like their name at first so that's why I skipped checking their music haha. As for my reviews, look up here: The Aebyss - just load more and search for my name (Emina) as reviewer :) , and you can also check my posts on HardForce - just click on tags on the left side.... Bands from my country, there are plenty of them but all of them are still underground. Which genres you prefer to listen?

Haha, it surprises me actually that most people really think of it serious :-D but now seriously, is there any life possible on that continent?^ And to finally clear up when it comes to my location, it's Sarajevo, Bosnia :-) Even Bosnia digs some Aussie metal! As for Haugy, check andrewhaug.com - he's also giving away a guitar through his website (only for Aussies!). Hmm, D666 didn't release anything new after Defiance (2009) but as far as I know, they're busy with writting a new album. Oh well, K.K. doesn't hurry with any thing as usual. Btw, I listened to CD's Africa cover - not bad although, I prefer the original :-) As for other bands, from metal I must mention The Levitation Hex and Alchemist - fuckin' great bands! From rock I may say Muse, The Butterfly Effect, AC/DC. I absolutely agree, you have a great alt/prog rock scene there and some great festivals also such as Soundwave.
