Hahah exactly, badass girls rule the world >.< I just can never take the kind of characters like Aeris, innocent, sweet, GROWS FLOWERS IN A CHURCH.... As to Cloud, he grew a lot in my opinion in the movie actually, I liked him better there! I think he's not that sissy hahah, I think that definition goes better with Tidus, the main character of X: there you have an annoying boisterous brat basically xD But I dunno for some reason he' still pretty fun :'D Yeah granted that Advent Children can only work best for the big fans of VII but I was really surprised when my sister liked it even though we only did a recap of the events in VII before watching (she never played it). Hahah so funny you like exactly the games I'm not so familiar with >_< Ahh, now I just wish I had time for playing again 0_o
And yeah I'm a actually more a Tifa fan girl xDDD And Vincent Valentine <3 But especially after watching Advent Children I actually grew more fond of Cloud again. Have you seen that movie? Even if you would not be a big fan of the FF7, that movie is pure beauty.
Hahah so funny to consider Seungri already a legend since he's BigBang's maknae xDD I still remember a few years ago when I thought of him as such a baby... then all of a sudden he became a man :'D I'm really happy to hear you liked Into the Fire!! Because yeah like I said I'm totally biased but I did think he did a really good job on this! So glad to hear it's not just my blind love for TOP haha :P There is actually a new movie coming late this year called Alumni he's gonna be in so really looking forward to that! But I surely agree that sometimes these celebrities going actors are just... well. You know what I'm talking about :'D Oh I definitely remember that AKB48 thing..but yeah she cheated on her boyfriend I guess.I remember when I first saw this shaving someone's head in a Japanese movie I was like ok what was that all about >.< I don't think they do it in Korea. But yeah hahah that clip was just so typical DaeSung... However I think he changed a bit after his accident...
Ok I just watched the Kindaichi Kowloon Treasure yesterday... I didn't like it that much >.< I just thought most of the time that it was all too much if you see what I mean. You know, when you watch murder mysteries, at their best when the case is solved, you realise that yeah actually it makes perfect sense and all the signs were there but you just didn't put the pieces together. In this one... I was all the time just like umm what the fuck?! xDD But yeah Seungri's Japanese is sooo amazing. I envy him 0_o Well, he's always been the business man of BigBang anyway :P As to TOP, I may not be the best of judges since I'm highly biased lol but I do think he is indeed good! For example, he had a major role in this movie 71:Into the Fire (포화속으로), which is based on a true story from the Korean War, and I think his performance is really compelling in this movie.Ohh I checked the video and I can definitely see that RIZE must have been influenced by Nirvana!Btw, Jesse doesn't look 100% Japanese?
Yay it works now!!! Thanks a lot ^o^ Unfortunately can't watch it until the weekend though -.- Oh well, at least I will then have something to look forward to :'P By the way, have you watched the Korean IRIS series? The 2nd series started recently, watched all the 4 episodes released so far, and it's just as brilliant as the 1st, if not even better! (the only downside is, no TOP this time lol) So if you haven't checked IRIS, I also really recommend it; so different from the typical K-drama in my opinion. Hahah glad to hear you appreciate my opinion :P Once you have watched Oresama, please tell me what you think! Like Miyavi explains himself in the movie, even though you might have all these crazy clothing, hairstyle etc you can never really be anything if the music doesn't come from your soul. And I think that's exactly his magic. You listen to him, and you can just connect with the person playing: I think that is music at it's best. Anyway, you also get a good laugh with Oresama xD
Thanks a lot!!! I will try downloading from there ^^ Hahah funny, you know in a sense I sorta understand what you're talking about: Nirvana is still my favourite band but there's not that many songs that in particular give me that awed feeling... It's just the entire thing. I can't really explain it; with Nirvana I have just always felt this strange connection between me & Kurt and his music and that's the reason why Nirvana is so important to me. Ok that probably makes no sense. Anyways, I must say I actually like the Kiss album by L~Arc~en~Ciel the most even though it's their newer material. And yeah, I do love Moon Child, I guess it's also got to do with the fact how it is so connected with a certain period in my life. How about have you seen Miyavi's Oresama? I also loooove that movie <3 I think Miyavi is like the ultimate gakkoii lol
Oh you watched already?? May I ask where you found the Seungri-drama?? I also would like to watch it now that I finished I Am Sam ^^ Ohh I think you haven't mentioned that L~Arc~en~Ciel is your favourite! Well, I think that's a band everyone who's even heard of J-rock must have listened to :'D Also with them, I used to listen to them much more previously than nowadays, but yeah, they're definitely in a class of their own. However, I have always preferred Gackt over Hyde :P Damn, now I really feel like watching Moon Child >.<
Yeah check out the drama & maybe tell me what you think? I believe Seungri has only a very small supporting role but still I wanna see it! At the moment I still gotta finish "I Am Sam" so can't start it yet. And yeah the Secret Garden parody is all BigBang! They did it specifically for fans for their 2011 concert. It's sooooo good >_< U know, I'm starting to think I have some linked destiny with Daesung hahah coz I went to the BigBang tour final in Seoul on Sunday ( *o* ) and I caught a water bottle he threw for the audience :'D By the way, it was like the best show ever, I was in the best possible area basically and saw them so close! It was my 6th time to see them >o< Back to Japanese bands, I think I have listened RIZE a bit in some point, should maybe try again! Yeah Gackt is like... the king of Japan xDD I honestly believe he was born like 500 years ago and all that :'DDD He is just so mystical... You must have seen Moon Child??
I mean, I think we both have to admit that very often when Japanese try to do English lyrics you don't even realise that's what they're doing, it sounds so incomprehensible >_< E.g. I love Alice Nine, Miyavi, Gackt.... but oh my, I sorta feel embarrassed whenever I hear their English, so yeah wow this Pay Money to My Pain sounded so good! So many young artists are lost far too early... Including the love of my life, Kurt Cobain :/
Yeah Seungri is doing so well in Japan! Then again I really can't see any other of the members doing variety in the same way Seungri does, he is a comedian by nature. I'd really like to check out that new Japanese drama he is in! Hahahah that comment of DaeSung's too black face is such a legend, me & sister always sorta leave DaeSung the last whenever it comes to BigBang, for example when I bought the Christmas presents he got the smallest gift lol and we joked like "he must have had the same expression on his face as in Running Man", meaning when he hears about looking like a country boy xD By the way, have you perhaps seen the "Secret Garden" parody by Big Bang? It's probably one of the most hilarious things I know, and you get to see a whole new side of GD & TOP :D Still gotta say how sad it was about this young singer dying.. I haven't heard about the band but I listened to them a bit and must say their English is so good compared to most Japanese bands!
Hahah yeah I GUESS he might have been the only one of BigBang there at the moment (I actually also saw Lee Hi), I think it's really rare they're actually all there, I believe GD was in Thailand over Christmas, Seungri in Japan, then as to Taeyang & TOP I'm not exactly certain. You know, when I saw him it was actually one of the last days DaeSung had the silver hair, I'm SO mad at him for doing that green, only GD can get away with stuff like that :'P But it was amazing to meet him (even though so shortly), I'd say he was even more handsome in real life! And skinnier up close too :O Ohh that's awful about you're favourite singer, who was it?
German-Japanese, that's an interesting combo! I've also been blessed with some good Japanese friends, they are very different from the Koreans though. I think it would be great to meet someone who has both the western and the eastern views, like your friend. I would've also wanted to really go Kyoto and Osaka but as I said had too little time :( I just went for a holiday trip by myself, that year I luckily had no mid-terms so I used the mid-term week for my travel :P Oh I'm so glad you were able to find new good songs!! ^o^ My Christmas would've been totally lame without my Christmas miracle: I went to the YG building to give a present for BigBang and eventually ended up being able to give my present directly to the hands of Daesung!!!!! I couldn't believe my luck... Since the security guard wouldn't take in the gift but just told me to wait there outside, I was JUST about to give up & leave when Daesung comes out! >__<
No worries! ^^ I really love korea, sometimes of course you do meet people with really negative attitudes but mostly koreans are just fascinated or intimidated by foreigners :D But especially the younger generation is truly all into getting to know what's happening around the world and they wanna make foreign friends. I hope you get to visit Japan & Korea! I went to Japan this spring, unfortunately I just had 1 week to spend so I could only go to Tokyo & Fukuoka but it was definitely all unforgettable nevertheless! Lol you're absolutely right about me saying that all BigBang songs are great but hmm have you listened to their Japanese stuff??? For example Koe Wo Kikasete, Stay, Beautiful Hangover, Gara Gara Go, Love Club just to name a few. Also, for Japan they have done a lot of songs in English, e.g. 'Everything' is a song I love beyond words. In Korean, the older material is also worth listening to, e.g. Dirty Cash (has a hilarious MV), Remember, Always, Foolish Love, Forever with U
Haha you know you're quite right about TOP but then again that's sorta what I like about him: he tries to act so cool but then again all of a sudden he does something utterly stupid without actually intending to ends being accidentally funny xD It's difficult to explain it. And yeah the more material you see of him, you'd see he does go all crazy sometimes, probably even the craziest of BigBang when he gets on that "mode" :'D Yeah I live in Korea for another year, been here already for one year ^^ Have you ever visited any Asian countries?
We didn't have much anime on when I was small :S I used to watch it with my cousin on the computer XD When I was very small I used to watch like Sailor Moon & Silver Fang, and then finally the Pokemon mania hit Finland and finally some anime on tv too :D And as to the differences of the Japanese & Korean, I think e.g. the Hard Gay is a very good example: I think Japanese are still often more "daring" in their variety, like you also implied! But yeah I think there are sure some exceptions to that "cool" image :D But with many Koreans, what they are on stage, music videos etc. in no way reflects their real persona. Some of them can actually be pretty boring in reality xD Wow, computing, could never do that! I study business, 3rd year, but I am doing it as a work placement here in a Korean company ^^ Then I have one more year of actual uni left to do in England to finish my degree -.-
Wow, I'm very impressed by how much you seem to watch anime/drama/variety... I truly watch very little after all, I just cannot find the time :/ At one time I have only one series and one drama that I have usually the chance to watch 1 or 2 episodes a week >__< Right now it's Inuyasha & I Am Sam :D But just like you said about YG, I will also definitely look into those shows whenever I just have more free time! That one video already looked very crazy indeed xD The Japanese do variety in a rather similar manner to Koreans don't you think? I wonder who's copying who kkkk By the way, may I ask that are you in uni, working or...?
I have watched very little Japanese shows! I mean, of course a lot of anime and movies but no variety shows... Are there many available with subtitles? Where do you usually watch them? And yeah do you also have some favourite animes or Japanese movies?
