Xtina's latest effort Bionic kinda sounds like schizophrenic. It's definitely a enjoyable record at least and even seems to be based on a particular theme that is "electro-oriented pop," but meanwhile, the sounds and styles on this album are varied (a little too much) from like "Not Myself Tonight" and "Prima Donna" to like "I Am" and "My Girls," or from like "Elastic Love" and "Bobblehead" to authentic ballads like "Lift Me Up" and "All I Need." I actually love how Christina concentrates her efforts everytime she releases an album, but I wonder why she doesn't put out two albums with 11 or 12 tracks for each instead of releasing it as one with 23 tracks.

Successful songwriter Lil Eddie, who had written "All I See" for Kylie Minogue, released his singing debut album City Of My Heart last year, exclusively in Japan. And this month, its deluxe edition, which contains 5 additional tracks including one with Japanese R&B singer JAY'ED, was just released and I feel both happy and sad that this fresh debut CD by a young R&B talent has been distributed (and become a hit) only in our country.

The HDD of my PC suddenly got broken last month and I lost a large part of my MP3 collection that I had gathered over the years, so now I'm buying the physical versions of the albums that I have lost and want to have again and Pitbull's Rebelution was among those albums. I, as a fan of various kind of hip-hop music, believe that not every kind of hip-hop has to be conscious or serious and also that good party music is good music for its own sake. Simply put, nothing could deny the catchiness and "danceability" of the music on this album. "Hotel Room Service," what a track!
