There have been way too many last year, so the reviews are very limited. Probably I forgot a few bands, nevermind.

15 January 2009 - Oasis, Tomte - Dresden - 6/10
A great start with two of my alltime-favourites, but location and audience spoilt the experience a bit.

16 January 2009 - Oasis - Hamburg - 8/10
Best of the Oasis-indoor shows I saw in 2009.

18 January 2009 – Oasis - Berlin - 7/10
Fun night with a lot of booze.

4 February 2009 – Oasis - Düsseldorf - 6/10
Rather average gig.

5 February 2009 – Slut - Bremen - 8/10
Beautiful night, I can still cry just thinking of “Global Cut”.

12 February 2009 - Bernd Begemann - Bremen - 5/10
Nice gig.

19 February 2009 - The Gaslight Anthem, Frank Turner - Hamburg - 4/10
Too crowded, maybe my expectations were too high, but disappointing.

23 February 2009 - Maxïmo Park - Berlin. - 8/10
Lido… No barriers… Front row… And my favourite band...

2 March 2009 - Maxïmo Park - München - 8/10
Another tiny venue and still my favourite band.

3 March 2009 - Maxïmo Park - Cologne - 8/10
The clubtour was on another level, apart from Leeds and Hamburg I haven’t seen the Park as strong again in 2009.

5 March 2009 - Ghost of Tom Joad - Bremen - 6/10
They’re not bad, not they’re not overwhelming either.

21 March 2009 - Gisbert zu Knyphausen, Nils Koppruch - Bremen - 8/10
Even if the on/off between Gisbert and Nils was a bit annoying, Gisbert won my heart by storm.

9 April 2009 – ClickClickDecker - Bremen - 6/10
Great moments, annoying moments, mixed memories.

17 April 2009 - Tiger Lou - Bremen - 8/10
Lovely.

8 May 2009 - Maxïmo Park - Münster - 3/10
Don’t get me started, neither the band nor the audience were on form that night.

8 May 2009 - Little Boots - Münster - 3/10
Just not my cup of tea (and my night…).

22 May 2009 - Maxïmo Park - Leeds, United Kingdom - 8/10
I didn’t plan to go this gig, but my decision to skip the Stag & Dagger at Leeds and to stay at the Academy turned out to be right.

23 May 2009 - Maxïmo Park - Manchester, United Kingdom - 7/10
The Academy was like a steam bath, everything and everyone was soaking wet after the show.

25 May 2009 - Crystal Stilts - London, United Kingdom - 6/10
Fun night for various reasons, I can still p*ss myself about the singer being on who-knows-what and a call from the audience “Hey! Turn up your micro, we can’t hear you, it’s so lo-fi!”.

26 May 2009 - Maxïmo Park - London, United Kingdom - 6/10
Solid.

27 May 2009 - Maxïmo Park - London, United Kingdom - 6/10
Somehow Brixton shows are never the best.

31 May 2009 - Kristofer Åström - Bremen - 7/10
Even if Sinkadus wasn’t his best record, I still love him.

6 June 2009 - Oasis, Kasabian - Manchester, United Kingdom - 8/10
Madferit.

7 June 2009 - Oasis, Kasabian - Manchester, United Kingdom - ?/?
Sources say that I had a lot of fun at the gig, but… Blame the cider.

8 June 2009 - ...And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead - Bremen - 7/10
A small free acoustic show by one of the nicest bands I ever met and still hungover from Manchester. Nice.

9 June 2009 - ...And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead - Bremen - 8/10
The loudest show I went to in 2009 and one of my songs for eternity “Will you smile again?”.

13 June 2009 – CocoRosie - Bremen - 6/10
Still cute and crazy.

14 June 2009 – Morrissey - Bremen - 7/10
The Mozfather still knows how to put on a show.

1 July 2009 - Breminale Festival 2009 at Breminale Festival – Erdmöbel etc. - Bremen, Germany - 5/10
Wasn’t the best year of the Breminale or maybe I wasn’t in the mood for it.

9 July 2009 - Oasis, Kasabian - London, United Kingdom - 8/10
Wembley. Monsters of Rock. Love it or hate it.

10 July 2009 - Cymbals Eat Guitars - London, United Kingdom - 3/10
I don’t get the hype.

11 July 2009 - Oasis, Kasabian, Reverend and the Makers - London, United Kingdom - 9/10
A magic night. “Fire” burning down the walls of Wembley. Oasis even better.

12 July 2009 - Oasis, Kasabian, The Enemy - London, United Kingdom - 8/10
I had no idea it’d probably be the last time I’d seen Oasis. Whatever. Tears. Where were you when we were getting high?

6 August 2009 - Maxïmo Park, The Maccabees - Hamburg - 8/10
Surprisingly good, both.

"A magic night. “Fire” burning down the walls of Wembley. Oasis even better." Couldn't have said it better.
