    Ah well you see, I've been doing my Top10's every year since 2003, and now I do a retrospective every 5 to see how my tastes have changed, here's the proper 2005 http://www.last.fm/user/SwitchTheMunky/journal/2009/09/02/2zek8t_top_10_albums_of_2005 Also if you're a Buck65 fan you have to check Milo, he got into my Top of 2011 and you have to hear the album before you finish your Top 100, it's download only off his site, it used to be free, now it's $1, small price to pay for brilliance.

    Dear Captain, thanks for reminding me that I should be hating you for attending a Mogwai gig this past year and that I should hold on to that irrational, unwarranted feeling in a passive-aggressive way until I am able to correct that injustice. PS: I had no comeback to that amazing shout you left me so I decided to go into denial mode. I have also bookmarked a "best of" Robert Palmer album so this does not happen in the future. I must live up to the saying "man smart, woman smarter".

    If you find yourself not much into the ambient-leaning tracks, may I suggest you make a playlist of all the pop songs. It may help you get there. There is after all almost an album's worth of those. In your honor, I'll spend morning listening to that album and sending you positive brainwaves to help you get into it more. Cause I might as well face it I'm addicted to m83 (Boom! Snuck in another Robert Palmer line! So proud of myself!)

    Captain, Captain, I'll give you the news. You've got a bad case of not loving it. As you can see by the overwhelming chart bar in my profile, I do love it. I think it's the perfect mix of pop, shoegaze and ambient of his previous albums. I find some of the songs so incredibly uplifting while others are contagious and they put me in such a great mood!! It's difficult not to be addictive to that kind of feeling... while it lasts! PS: that first line was supposed to be a Robert Palmer pun but I'm not sure it was clear enough. (:/)
