What got you into number one?
It's Nine Inch Nails. I have a hard time understanding how someone wouldn't be into NIN. Even my trancewhore fiancé likes Nine Inch Nails.

Why the hell have you listened to that so much?
I actually own the albums. The majority of my mp3 collection is Nine Inch Nails.

Favorite songs of number one:
According to my chart, The Hand That Feeds, The Line Begins to Blur, Starfuckers, Inc., The Perfect Drug, plus half of my "top tracks" chart.

Something you think you’d thoroughly enjoy doing with the band?
I just want to hang out with him/them. NIN is Trent Reznor, really.

Favorite memory of the artist?
The Davis, CA concert was pretty fucking cool. I also like his quote in Rolling Stone a while back that said something along the lines of Fred Durst can surf a piece of plywood up his ass.

What got you into them?
My friend in high school hated the song Peaches so I had to play the CD as much as possible around her. I had actually bought it because I couldn't get radio at home in junior high and everyone was talking about that song. I had to find out WTF they were talking about. I fell in love with the band.

What makes you like them so much?
They're catchy and fun. There isn't enough fun music these days.

Favorite songs:
Again, according to Last.fm charts, Love Everybody and Kitty. For listening to this band so much, those are the only two songs on my top-200 track chart.

Favorite memory of artist?
My least favorite memories are how many times I've missed them in concert when they're in town.

I already have. I'd do it again. It was pretty damn awesome.

I don't know. I'm not big on obsessing with band members.

Memory, the concert. Songs… Giving In, The Way You Like It, Do What You Want to Do, Close Friends, Freaking Out, Trust. How are they only #3?

Probably. If they'd go. Do punks fish? Anyway, I like it because it's smart punk.

Not really. I usually listen when I'm angry. Good punk is good punk.

That they've stayed together. If they're still together, that is. Gwen Stefani is a little full of herself at this point.

Just a Girl, Don't Speak, Ex-Girlfriend, Just a Girl. I'm not big on assigning memories. Don't Speak reminds me of Pop-up Video. I miss that show. Ex-Girlfriend always seems like my theme song.

What are some songs you like/why?
Sex and Candy, which is obviously their first single and why I started listening.
One More Suicide. One night I sat up at a party listening to a friend play guitar. He played this song. I swore nobody else had ever heard it before.
A Cloak of Elvenkind. I like the story.
Dog and his Master. It's just on the CD.

Random fact you know about the band?
They're better in concert than on their album. They actually played only the three guys and their instruments. No guitar techs is good.

They're not that much lower than the others. I love em, still.

Maroon 5 since my friend Evan suggested them. Coal Chamber since I wanted to be cool in high school.
