I wouldn't say it's bloated, I think it maintains a pretty good standard throughout. Bonus tracks are pretty meh. Me and the girl broke up - we've both been crazy busy with our careers which meant we weren't seeing each other as much, and she moved down to London a couple of weeks ago for a big career opportunity. We might resume things if she comes back home permanently. Been dating since but tbh I'm still pretty hung up on her. Anyways you think le Arse will win the 4th place super cup?

Ziggy Stardust is probably his songwriting peak. He reeled all those songs off in a few weeks apparently, which is nuts. The only thing stopping it from being my GOAT Bowie album is the Glam rock sound. Its brilliant album, but I've never really warmed to that genre, I don't feel that genre's aged particularly well.

Young Americans is pretty good. I think his coke habit was making him a bit overindulgent at that point. Title track is killer, as is Fascination, but his cover of Across The Universe sucks ass (as do most of his covers actually, he usually fucks around with the song too much and loses what makes it great)

TND is probably closest to Lodger and Scary Monsters I guess, at a push. Both of those are in my top 5 or 6 Bowie albums

Might as well check out the rest of his golden stuff first. Basically any album from 70-80 is excellent.

Heathen is a good album. Outside is also pretty good, and has some great stuff on it, but the whole record is nearly derailed by its fucking batshit insane concept and interludes. Earthling is a guilty pleasure of mine and slightly underrated I feel, although it screams 'NINETIES!' these days. Reality is solid enough, and Lets Dance is good for what it is.

I'll probably settle on 8/10 for it. Damn good achievement for his age, compared to the shit his contemporaries are putting out (cough LOU FUCKING REED cough). Might creep into my top 10. Bowie albums, not sure, there's some stiff competition.
