Viking metal
Le Viking metal est un terme utilisé pour décrire le mouvement de groupes de heavy metal, principalement le folk metal, dont les paroles font référence principalement à la mythologie nordique, aux Vikings ou au paganisme. La majorité des groupes de viking metal sont originaires de la Scandinavie. Dans la musique du viking metal, les claviers et les instruments traditionnels comme le violon ou l’accordéon sont omniprésents et le rythme est galopant. @SamuraiRui, @xSMRTx Viking metal is a legitimate sub-genre of black metal. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viking_metal All the bands up there except for Bathory, Amon Amarth and Tyr are not viking metal but rather pagan or folk metal with occasional viking themes. ENSLAVED should definitely be up there. Seriously abused tag.

V They'r very good Epic Doom, but Isole and Ereb Altor are better. But i have to agree, most of the modern Folk/Pagan Metal Bands are missing the true spirit. They're just Party Metal.
