Progressive metal
Le metal progressif (ou progressive metal) est une tendance stylistique du heavy metal qui se caractérise par la grande complexité de ses instrumentations, des chansons très structurées et de longue durée, des rythmes et des mesures inhabituelles ainsi qu’une grande variété de mélodies au sein d’une seule et même chanson.
