I take back whatever I previously said about Nightrage, I just got done listening to some of their 3rd album with Jimmy on it, and it's pretty damn sick. Before this all I had heard were a couple of songs from the new album, which I don't remember liking very well, I'll try checking out more of it though. I also need to make sure to check out the first two albums with the vocalist from At The Gates on them. Random, Cipher System's new song owns, everyone must check it out.

Random, but new Scar Symmetry has grown on me a lot, the clean vocalist isn't nearly as bad as I thought. Only songs I don't like on DMD are Mechanical Soul Cybernetics and Nonhuman Era. Parenthesis in Eternity and Sculptor Void are phenomonal and probably my favorites though.

If that isn’t enough, all of their similar artists on here are Job For A Cowboy, Suicide Silence, and White Chapel. They are also a headlining band of that horrific “Summer Slaughter” tour, and I just can’t respect any band who takes part in that, let alone headlines it. Some say their new sound is Black Metal, but I won't consider them that, let alone Melodeath. If they would be considered any form of metal, it’d be Brutal Death Metal or Extreme Metal.

The thing that ruins Deadlock for me is the HORRIBLE male vocalist, he's so goddamn bad.... everything else about the band is perfect, as are the females vocals, but that guy just kills the band for me. lamniformes: Mors Principium Est had guest female vocals on their album, "Unborn". Very good CD.
