How is it even possible to have "gothic" as a genre?? Seriously whats going on here on this site. People are believing that even the term "emo" is a musical genre? wtf. If that were true, virtually every artist would be in the emo genre. I like this website, but little cunts are starting to join who genuinely don't know absolute shit about music. It seems that this 'genre' is based on how people look, which is the exact same with the emo 'genre'. So in other words, i could dress up all gothic and play in a boy band, and technically speaking, i would EXPECT to be seen as a gothic group on this site. ohh yeah and an emo group.

@igorthe_killers: this tag is name 'gothic' not 'gothic rock' and thus it includes all genres within the goth music. I agree emlie autumn is not gothic rock and dead can dance not entierly (if you don't belive me listen to their first album) gothic rock, but a lot of (true) goths listen to both artists and so they have the right to wear the name gothic... completly diferent opinion with evanescence and within temptation gothic metal is not really gothic, taking lacrimosa as the exception that makes the rule of course :)
