VanitysFair Most easycore sucks, as with most music in general. Yeah, people definitely don't know their genres. I'm not surprised at all though, I've even heard someone call a death metal band "screamo" once. Screamo is a great genre, but it often is misconstrued as bands like Asking Alexandria which is in fact generic metalcore. In Her Own Words isn't a bad easycore band though.

Jonjonjohny The top 3 and Me vs hero sorta do it the best. You got We Are Defiance who got the whole metalcore -> pop-punk thing going. But they're not very good song writers.
