Acid Jazz
L’acid jazz (également appelé groove jazz) est un style musical qui combine des influences de jazz avec des éléments issus de la musique soul, du funk, du disco et du hip-hop. L’acid jazz prend son essor dans les années 1980 et 1990, d’abord à Londres grâce à des labels comme Talkin’ Loud, puis dans le monde entier. Le nom « Acid Jazz » viendrait d’une plaisanterie survenue au cours d’une des soirées typiques du début du mouvement, en référence à l‘ »Acid House » si populaire à cette époque.
