Diablo Swing Orchestra, groupe suédois, se définit comme un groupe de jazz/rock, bien que sa musique ne se limite pas du tout à ces influences. Leur style est un subtil mélange entre swing jazzy de par l’utilisation de contrebasses, cuivres et de lignes de basses typiques de ce style. La voix de la chanteuse d’opéra Anne-Louise apporte la touche de théatral au groupe, tandis que les guitares électriques et les constructions très rythmées du groupe trahissent son influence rock et métal.
Le mélange des genres aboutit à un style unique, véritable patte artistique du groupe, qui fait le bonheur des fans et attirent les critiques de leurs détracteurs.
