Unwound was a U.S. rock band based in Tumwater/Olympia, Washington. Formed in 1991, the band, originally known as Giant Henry, consisted of Justin Trosper (vocals, guitar, songwriting), Vern Rumsey (bass), and Brandt Sandeno (drums), who was replaced in 1992 by Sara Lund.

Leaves Turn Inside You has its moments ("December", "Demons", "Look a Ghost") but it feels overlong and their home studio dampens some of the spike. But I also like New Plastic Ideas the best, which is sort of LTIY's opposite. Like Labradford, all Unwound albums are at least good, and for different reasons.

Overall Fake Train is an alright album, but what makes it so amazing is Valentine Card/Kantina/Were, Are And Was Or Is.
