Took me a few years after initially listening to it, but the glorious euphoria of dubnobasswithmyheadman finally clicked with me. Remaster sounds fantastic btw.

How is 'Underneath the Radar' only 119 on the charts? Sure I didn't even know it was the same band and it's quite a different style, but it's still a really good song.

"Juanita/Kiteless/To Dream of Love" = one of the best tracks.

@froggafiend it seems so, but it's a little strange. I always thought it's their most underarted album, it received at time of release really weak reaviews. It was also always one of my favourite just behind great 90' albums (dubnobass, second infant, beaucoup).

If you combine the two seperate entries in the albums list for A Hundred Days Off it actually works out as being Underworld's most popular album on here

Check out Thing In A Book (also called 215 and uhh other things), a 20 minute beast that's buried on the 5 disc new edition of Dubnobass, and an old Dark & Long single http://optimisticunderground.wordpress.com/2014/10/16/underworld-thing-in-a-book-with-a-strange-fan-video/ with an interesting video and stuff.

OK London, you can solely have the 'DubNo.....' live experience, but they better fucking tour the 'Second Toughest.....'. No joke.

For anyone who doesn't follow Karl's diary: on March 31st's entry, the last two lines were "Returning to the studio for the next project, as it runs parallel with new u/w writing." Ahhhh yesssss~

It's absurd to me that they didn't remaster the Dubno tracks on 1992-2002 to be as loud as the rest. I don't usually like anthologies, but that one would be great if it was consistent.

@Quisquillian: OK, apologies accepted. // Some songs from Beaucoup Fish like Jumbo, Push Upstairs and King of Snake work better live. The versions from Everything, Everything live album are my favorites. // I can see why some fans don't like AHDO that much. AHDO is like a chillout, more subtle Underworld. A song like "Mo Move" for example deserves more recognition. It's as good as all their well known classic songs.

ACHTUNG, fellow UW fans: I'm uploading several rarities to Youtube, none of which — to my knowledge — have been posted there before. Including the 9 minute version of "River of Bass"!!!! Check it out: http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCArS-wV0dWds6isFOu0ncaQ.

    juillet 2013
  • Quisquillian

@syncondees: I think I may actually agree with you, to a degree — "Second Toughest..." is my favourite of their "official" albums (though, considering the Pearls Girl EP is virtually the same length...), but I'd take AHDO over Beaucoup Fish any day. I cannot comprehend the dislike of "Little Speaker" (I think it's the highlight of the record!), and for god's sake - "Dinosaur Adventure 3D"?! "Mo Move"?!! And "Luetin"?!! I mean, as Gob Bluth would say - "Come on!". It's a bloody classic m8. :P

@alin1 I apologise for the rather haughty nature of my comment, I should avoid the internet when I'm intoxicated. I don't mean to dismiss anybody's opinions and to be honest, I have no idea why I even felt it necessary to make a point of it in the first place. People like what they like. I love Rowla, I love Cherry Pie; I prefer the former, but that's by the by. And I agree that it was a moronic "shout". No hard feelings. Underworld.

    juillet 2013
  • froggafiend

@Quisquillian "An eraser of love". Yes, Rowla is a underdeveloped version of Cherry Pie.

    juillet 2013
  • alin1

@Quisquillian: I said that Rowla is underdeveloped because it's repetitive and it goes nowhere. Cherry Pie seems like an evolved version of Rowla and it's much better. By the way, you're the moron because you insult people for having a different opinion than yours. Understood?
