Under Byen (prononcez Oh’nah-Boon) est un groupe danois de rock indie créé en 1995 par Henriette Sennenvaldt (chant), Stine Sørensen (batterie/percussions), Sara Saxild (bass), Nils Grøndahl (violon), Morten Larsen (batterie/percussions), Anders Stochholm (kalimba), Morten Svenstrup (violoncelle), et Thorbjørn Krogshede (piano).
Leur première album, Kyst, a remporté plusieurs prix danois et un accueil très chaleureux du public.
Under byen se fait connaitre à l’étranger en 2002 par Det Er Mig Der Holder Træerne Sammen. Ils sont acclamé par la critique anglophone (David Fricke pour Rolling Stone et John Peel pour la BBC).
Leur troisième album, Samme Stof Som Stof, est sorti en 2006.
