    Dylan's is cowboys mouth, sailor's mouth is a common expression, but Waits is probably fully aware of what Dylan wrote.

    That "sailor's mouth" line is straight out of Bob Dylan's "Sad Eyed Lady of the Lowlands." He's either paying it a tribute or stealing it. Either way, I'm sure Tom was aware that the line was not his.

    this is just too full of emotion. I hate people who shrug their shoulders at this song. I hate them. I hate them for being so void of feelings. I wish I could capture the song and enslave it in my head, but I guess others need it as well. Flow freely.
