Really enjoying their songs I heard on the radio, when the radio still played rock music, my friend is a huge fan so he helped influence it, as well as seeing them live all contributed into how I really got into them

"Swing Life Away" one day on G106.3

I heard their song "Never Enough" on Gran Turismo 3 and i loved it so i bought the cd, which at the time i didn't know that Last Resort and Blood Brothers were also their songs. so i immediately loved them

2. What was the first song you ever heard by 22? (Alexisonfire)
it was either Accidents or "Hey, It's Your Funeral Mama"

Hoewel ik na Pinkpop en groezrock eigenlijk niet meer van plan was om nog een festival te bezoeken.

Woensdag 13 Augustus:
Woensdag op tijd uit bed, laatste spullen inpakken en richting station boxtel om de trein naar Eindhoven te nemen vanwaar we een vantevoren uitgestippelde busroute zouden volgen die, volgens judith, zo binnendoor was dat niemand zo gek zou zijn om dezelfde route te nemen. Die zeepbel werd dus doorgeprikt toen we in een of ander klein dorpje over moesten stappen in de buurtbus.
Buurtbus, je weet wel, zo'n busje voor 8 mensen, waar uiteindelijk 13 volledig bepakte festivalgangers ingepropt werden. Hilarische situatie met mensen en tassen en tassen en mensen. In Lommel overgestapt naar Hasselt en toen waren we er dan toch echt. Het was gezellig druk, het zonnetje scheen, leek een perfecte middag te worden. Dat werd snel minder toen we doorkregen hoe lang we met alle bagage in de rij moesten staan. …

concert - circa survive

Sat 3 May – Thrice, Circa Survive, Pelican
First off, The National is a terrific venue. It is about the same size as the Norva in Norfolk, VA (at home), but it is much more organized. Upstairs, on the balcony, where we sat was great because it was very relaxed, you didn't have to worry about someone stepping on you or anything else of the sort. We missed the first act, Pelican, but I heard they were good, so I must check them out. Circa Survive put on a fantastic show. Anthony Green is so interactive with the audience! He made you feel happy and at home. Thrice on the other hand just made me want to fall A S L E E P ! Good god. Not only that, but they said like one thing to the audience the whole time. I was happy they played The Artist In The Ambulance but we bolted right after that. Their new album is just kind of abstract, and really not my style. But overall, it was a good show. I would have liked to have seen Circa Survive headline, but hopefully within the next few years, I will. …

Thrice with Say Anything and Attack in Black: February 15, 2008 - Kool Haus

I was halfway through my review of the Thrice / Say Anything show last Saturday when I lost my train of thought and have been unable to get it back. Now I'm getting all critical and hate everything that I've written about it so far, so I guess that review is never going to see the light of the Internets.

I do always forget how good Thrice is live, though. I wasn't looking forward to seeing them, and I was mostly there to see Say Anything, yet the moment they took the stage I remembered just how much I like seeing them live.

They always play such solid sets, in terms of songs and quality. I've been unable to find their set list online and I can't remember most of it, but it was really, really long and contained a very healthy amount of old songs, which was nice. They encored with a new song from the second installment of the Alchemy Index, which I thought was brilliant and really enjoyed, and The Earth Will Shake.

Plus they just play so well every time I see them. …
