Given that many of the bands I like and talk about have names from other languages, I find myself often unsure how to pronounce them. Internet searches usually yield unclear instruction, or the ignorance of, "Just say it like it's spelled." Nothing is quite as good as hearing it for myself.

I decided to search band interviews for good examples, with some success. My findings are listed below. I've been compiling this list for awhile, as I've come across good sources. I try to get it directly from a band member's mouth, if possible. I figure that's the best example available.

I hope that this can be useful to other metal fans who care about this sort of thing… potentially a group effort. If you can contribute, post below.
