Uhh, first time posting a journal on here, and I thought it'd be perfect to put up the playlist for my first novel. It's available online for free incase anyone's interested here. (Don't be interested, in fact I'm rather surprised in how many downloads it has.) Yeah, I'm not planning on even trying to hand it into publishers. It's just not that great and not worth it. So, I'll just go by each song and insert a little sentence or two on why it made it to the "official" playlist. UPDATE: You can go here to listen to the WHOLE soundtrack!

The Killers - Human This is the song that I was listening to when I had a breakthrough on the idea. I just pictured a couple going through an emotional mess and yet, dancing gracefully. "Are we human or are we dancer?"

Lights - The Listening This is pretty much Dorothy's (MC) theme song. "When all of my emotion gets in the way, I'm just trying to get us on the right page."

miejsce 5. DJ Shadow 324 odtworzeń
No więc cóż można napisać o tak uznanym artyście..hmmm.. Słuchałem głównie Endtroducing..., który w 1996 powywracał cały sposób myślenia o muzyce elekronicznej. Dj Shadow nie odniósł większego sukcesu pozostałymi krążkami, a IMHO ostatni The Outsider jest w zasadzie nie do słuchania, ale ten jeden jedyny i to w dodatku pierwszy jest bezwzględnie rewolucyjny!

miejsce 4. Bonobo 384 odtworzeń
W tym roku pojawił się nowy albumik Black Sands, który jest jak najbardziej poprawny i bardzo w stylu Bonobo. Można kręcić nosem, że nie dorównuje poprzedniej kompilacji Days to Come ale mnie się podobało. Bonobo zawsze był dla mnie taką definicją chillout-u. Nic się nie zmienia, Bonoba słuchać nie przestaje.

Nowy album Anathemy był prawdopodobnie jednym z najbardziej oczekiwanych wydażeń tego roku. Wielu zapewnie rozczarował, ale wśród równie wielu ugruntował pozycję bandu. Album bez przebojów, ale niesamowicie równy, posiadający ten sczególny klimat z wcześniejszych płyt. Uzależniający! Z każdym kolejnym przesłuchaniem podoba się bardziej.

2. Mogwai - Special Moves

Klasyczny prog-rock... Jeśli ktoś lubi Mogwai, polubi i ten album. Utwory z ostatnich płyt zespołu brzmią lepiej na tym koncertowym wydawnictwie, niż na płytach studyjnych. Klimat, klimat. klimat....
