The Tough Alliance est composé de Henning Fürst et Eric Berglund; deux artistes pop de Göteborg, en Suède.
Depuis leur formation en 2001, ils ont sorti les EPs; Make It Happen et Holiday. En 2005, leur premier album, The New School, sort. Celui-ci a eu un grand succès en Suède.
En mai 2006 la sortie très attendue de The Tough Alliance - New Waves EP sort sur leur propre label Sincerely Yours. En octobre 2006 sort leur deuxième album, ‘Escaping Your Ambitions’.
En mai 2007, le troisième album plus anticipé ‘A New Chance’ sort sur Sincerely Yours.
