Belong has its good/great songs... but it seems like a solid EP dragged out into an LP to cover the lyrical bases for a concept album. Kinda monotonous, but not altogether bad :)

@jacobfreakscene I can understand that criticism for the s/t debut, but I'd argue that the songs on Belong are really varied. It sounds more like a mixtape of the best twee/noise/dream pop and shoegaze of the last 25 years.

KHsonicdude23 Their songs don't all sound the same. They've just got this cool aesthetic that all their songs have similar. It's not like AC/DC, who only know four chords and have their songs all in the same tune.

jacobfreakscene You listen to one of their songs and think "Wow, this is really fucking good", and then you listen to more of their songs and realize they all sound the same, and you start to have irrational anger and resentment towards the band for being so stagnant and lacking in versatility.

Stugard Feldman, please quit this band and make more music as The Depreciation Guild. [2] By far the superior project, I wish all the time that it could have lived instead of POBPAH. I just guess it's the shoegaze band the world deserves, but not the one it needs right now.
