    I remember seeing Tom perform this when he was supporting Rise Against in Manchester years ago. Despite the fact that most people hadn't heard this song before, it was fairly new, we had all lost our voices before Rise Against came in because we'd been screaming along to this!

Easy catchy songlines, who everbody could imediatly pick up? I don't remember Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan or Alvina Reynolds being to sophisticated musically speaking. But they had a message they brought to everybody through this simple tunes. Has nothing to do with 'pop-ish'. I dont hear any strings, orchestra, synthie beat or heavy studio mastering in this song
