The Honorary Title est un groupe Indie New-Yorkais formé par Jarod Gorbel, Aaron Kamstra, Jon Wiley et Adam Boyd.
Ils ont sorti leur premier album intitulé Anything Else But The Truth en 2004 auquel à suivi Scream and Light Up the Sky en 2007.
Le groupe c’est vite fait connaître outre-atlantique et à notamment fait une apparition dans l’épisode #507 de la série One Tree Hill (Fr: Les Frères Scott) dans laquelle le groupe joue quelques chansons.

Hahhaha Of course Court is here causing havock in her ways. Didn't I show you the Honorary Title Court? I'm super sad the Honorary Title is breaking up. They're music isn't the same as Jarrod Gorbel. Granted, Jarrod pretty much is the Honorary Title, he's not. Say good bye to the upbeat, non acoustic music.

I don't get why your heart would be broken @ below. This has been coming for a long time now, but is that really going to matter? No. Jarrod Gorbel is still creating music and that's all that really matters. The EP he sold on tour was perfect, so I expect nothing but beautiful music from him.
