Biographie

Not sure how I feel about the new album. It's good overall, but only as a whole piece. Something up tempo might have been nice. As it is, it's mellow background music as opposed to something I want to actively listen to.

Am I the only one who won't listen to the Terror on Spotify just because I don't want the "Shuffle-Ready Version" bullshit on my scrobbles?

I love The Terror, but man does it put me in a downer mood whenever I listen to it. I peek into the light a lil bit during Try to Explain but the rest just buries me. There's a disconnected bass line in Butterfly that drives me insane in a good way.

Back to the band now, I can't wait to see the new live show sometime soon. The Terror so far from what I've seen and heard online sounds amazing live.

I know what label they're on. I would bet most of their listeners, and by extension most people pretending to like them for Indie Cred don't.

"Indie Cred" in general doesn't make any sense.

Again, "Indie Cred" for pretending to like a band signed to Warner Bros. That doesn't make any sense.

Maybe you are Extremely Passionate about the Flaming Lips but I think/know that a majority of their listeners are pretending for Indie Cred

So, you like the music on your charts. That is a JUSTIFICATION to why you listen to that music! (A good justification!) But saying that everyone else is listening to music they don't like, just to seem "cool" or whatever, crosses the line into dipshitville. You can listen to what you want, I really don't care. But I genuinely think the Flaming Lips are amazing. I genuinely think Linkin Park are complete shit, and Taylor Swift is boring and mediocre. Apparently you think Linkin Park and Taylor Swift are amazing. That's fine. I believe you. I have no problem with that. I don't even have a problem with you thinking the Flaming Lips are boring. (It's your goddamn loss.) But don't call me a "hipster", implying that I'm a fake, a fraud, a poser, and a liar, for listening to the music I am extremely passionate about.

It's not defending them because I am not justifying why it is okay for me to listen to Not Cool Music. I listen to what I listen to and you can shit on it if you want but it doesn't bother me because you're a hipster

"Yes my charts reflect the music I actually like and listen to which is to say I don't turn off scrobbling when I listen to something that isn't Pitchfork Approved" <------ How can you say this statement is not a defense of your charts? Because it's the truth? Can only lies be proper defenses? Are you completely blind to logic right now? Or are you just saying this stuff to keep your trolling momentum going?
